Carson English was
born in Houston Texas in 1946 but moved to California at a young
age. He grew up and attended school in San Francisco at which
time he began to develop his craft. Earning a Bachelors Degree, he
majored in Art where upon graduation in 1968 he received a fellowship
to study art at the University of up Uppsula in Sweden. Later, Carson
earned a Masters Degree in psychology and counseling, and became an
educator in San Francisco for 10 years. He has been a real
estate broker for the past 27 years here in the Bay Area, but has
continuously blended his passion for painting into his life for the
past 37 years. He has been married to Gerri English (a teacher) for 33
years and together they have a daughter, Erica (an actress). At
present Carson continues to relish in his painting and is excited to
make his works available to the public for the first time.
