In this exhibition of my works I have attempted to capture images of places that have made a lasting impact on me. I think beauty in the
hands of a true artist can be found in the familiar. When painting, I experience an emotional connection with my realistically depicted scenes. One of the strengths behind my work, is that I pay extreme attention to detail, evoking warmth and life in each piece. My ability to use color, illumination and dark shadows allow me to make a visually dramatic statement on canvas. It is my sincere hope that as you engage in viewing my works, you too will be captured by the realism of each piece.
